Performance evaluation of fabric hook

The definition of hook wire is that after the fabric is hooked by a sharp object, it is different from the original. Some places have loops, some places are cut off, and some places have other unevenness.

Fabric Testing Instruments Standard scope of application: mainly used for knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and other fabrics that are easy to hook, but not suitable for fabrics with mesh structure, non-woven fabrics and tufted fabrics.

1.Test instrument: Fabric ICI Mace Snag Tester GT-C17

2.ICI Mace Snag Tester Test procedure: After the specified standard atmospheric humidity is adjusted, two samples are taken in the longitudinal (longitudinal) and weft (horizontal) directions, each with a size of 200 mm × 330 mm. The tube is about 280mm long;

3.Set on the drum of the hook wire instrument, put the mace;

4.Turn on the instrument and let the nail hammer flip and jump randomly on the sample (generally set for 10min);

5.After the test is stopped, remove the sample;

6.Each sample is rated under the standard required Color Matching Box, which can be rated by sample photos or by visual description.
